Installing KDM Theme Manager..........

Ok.. I downloaded KDM Theme Manager files..
but how do I install it?

Well - it looks like you picked the hard way to do it Looking at the site you seem to have downloaded the bzipped tar files which need compiling. Now you can do this (./configure make sudo make install) but if you've never done this before you have a bit of a learning curve. Luckily you don't have to in this case. the kdm theme manager (called KDMtheme) is available through Adept. Its in the "Universe" repository which you need to activate (come back if you don't know how. Just fire up adept - search for kdmtheme and install it

Do I download kdmtheme OR kcontrol-kdmtheme, or both, or does it not matter?

I only have kdmtheme installed, and it's working fine.
