the site says that it can be used with Mac

I would like to know if there will be any problems if I attempt to install it to (kubuntu 6.06)
The search did not bring up any references.

It won't work in Linux natively.

System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems
Windows Vista
Windows XP (Professional, Home, and Tablet PC editions)
Windows 2000

There is a version for the Mac as well.

If you install a VM (virtual machine) and then install a copy of Windoze XP you would be able to then obtain, install, and use zinio that way. It is possible (?) that you could also use Wine, but I have zero experience with Wine so can't advise.

I also have an old box with XP on it, used about once every 6 months, but would naturally prefer to have the app on my linux box.
There are some really good deals at Zinio (sigh)
