How to get a link to Home on my Panel?

    Subject says it all.

I would like to have a link to Home in my Panel, and I don't see it as an applet and I don't want to use the System Menu, but I could I guess.

    Thanks!

This is what I did, and it may seem convoluted, but it works, and allows me to create a keyboard shortcut for my /home directory, too.

Right-click on the KMenu and select "edit menu."

Create a new entry in one of the menu folders. Call the entry "Home" and select an appropriate icon for it. Then, for the command, use
    Code:
    konqueror /home/wjp
    Save the menu.

Then click on the KMenu, find the launcher and right-click on it and select "Add to Main Panel."

Thanks! I had the same question and it's now been solved by the same answer. And it is nice having that keyboard shortcut too.
