Startup Notif... sound not working in Ogg.

Can't get kubuntu-login.ogg to play when starting up kubuntu like the CD does when run.

Was working fine till recently, now can only get wav sound files to play at startup.

Have no problem with any programs that play sounds, can play Ogg with various music players (kaffine,Amarok,etc...) , have tried changing kmixer settings, tried changing KDE System Notifications in System Settings, all to no good.

Any ideas of what to try next?

I'm having the same problem.
I just upgraded to Ibex, and prior to that everything worked just fine.
