.asx files will not play in Firefox or Konqueror

What do I have to do to play an .asx file in Kubuntu? Aboutlugins tells me that Kaffeine will handle .asx files. But when I go into Firefox preferences-->manage file types, Firefox doesn't list .asx file-types.

I had installed mozilla-mplayer plugin and was able to access an .asx stream recently. I just looked, and there appears to be a kaffeine-mozilla plugin as well. Do you have that installed?
