    LTSP Support

Has anybody tried using Kubuntu with LTSP? I've read that there is an option to install an LTSP version of kubuntu but I dont have the hardware to mess around with as yet. My system will be as follows,

    1 Server
10 Thin clients (More may be added later) (Diskless PXE booting)

Any ideas, advice, place I can look, experience?

    Thanks,
    Shagpile

Shagpile.. I've done it for several many times, it is not so easy and not so hard.. currently I already setup LTSP Server with Kubuntu 6.10 on my customer IBM server with 260GB of HD and 1GB of memory with 8 client, the client spec it AMD Sempron 1.7Ghz with PXE Mainboard feature, and I also install CCLFOX for cyber cafe management system, u can check out my screenshot here at http://www.osscc.org/2007/04/my-kubu...reen-shot.html.

The process is simple, all u need to do is, sudo apt-get install libwww-perl ltsp-server ltsp-server-standalone openssl and the sudo ltsp-build-client, if you want to use local media just sudo apt-get install ltspfs ltspfsd and set your lts.conf "LOCALDEV=True" without quote.

but you might refer to the LTSP Doc first

Would you be able to give me that again, step by step. Would be a HUGE help as upto now I was just going to use edubuntu. KDE would be hugely cool though.
