Mac Mini with OSX 10.3.9 to Kubuntu

ok...im not a noob at linux (ive had ubuntu 5.10 on an old dell for a while) and im wondering a few things about Kubuntu running on a ppc mac. First Could i use wine to get itunes running through Kubuntu on my mac? second are there any programs that i cant use on my mac? third, is there any way i can sync photos and videos onto my ipod in kubuntu? an last, what are some good apps i should try out?

    Thanks

Wine does not work on the PPC architecture so you won't be able to run any Windows apps. As for programs, any program will work as long as it's a PPC binary, or pure source, then you can compile it yourself (you can't compile programs that won't work on PPC like Wine). To acces your iPod you can use Amarok audio player, and here are a few programs you might want to check out yourself:

    Gimp Image Editor
    Blender 3D Modeller
    aMSN (msn clone)
    Superkaramba (Desktop Widgets)
    VLC media player
    Dosbox (dos emulator)
    Firefox (of course :P)
