    K7/K8 Kernel

Why is there no K7 or K8 kernel for edgy.

All there is is generic kernel?

    Re: K7/K8 Kernel

The K7 and 686 kernels have been combined in edgy (because there weren't noticeable differences between the performance of the two AFAIK).

So you should use the generic kernel with both athlon and intel processors.
(386 is still available for 'museum exhibit' processors)
