    How to disable rt2400 driver?

    Hello,

I have rt2400 kernel module loaded for my WiFi card. This driver doesn't work very good so I always use ndiswrapper which works way better.
Now, the problem is that rt2400 always gets loaded during boot and I don't know how to disable it (uninstall or whatever). I looked in /etc/modules and all entries in /etc/modprobe.d/ but could not find anything related.

Can anyone tell me how to disable this driver?

    Hi ivasic,

You need to blacklist this driver first. Add the following: blacklist rt2400 to the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

This will stop the loading of the driver during boot.
