Boot failure: System halted...

I have installed Kubuntu 6.06, everything went smoothly. However, when i restart, it doesn't boot properly. There's a long pause, then some text shows up and it tells me there's a boot failure. Not sure why. I am currently working through the LiveCD. Any help?

First something about Intel PXE-2.0 (build 083).

Then: DHCP...

Then it shows my MAC address and i think GUID.

Then it pops out with:
PXE-E53: No boot filename received.
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM
Boot Failure: System Halted

And i have no idea how to get around this...

I went into the BIOS and changed boot order and disabled the Intel thing. Now i only get one error: Boot failure: System halted

Oh, oh, sounds like "six bytes under" to me ... in short: you are dead, or, to be more specific: at least one important part of your machine seems to have gone done the digital drain (further reading).
