Grub doesn't remeber configuration when upgrade

    Hi,

I don't know if this is really a problem but is annoying for me.

When I use Adept to upgrade the available packages and a new linux-image is installed, grub overwrites the configuration (menu.lst) and adds all kernels but does'nt add the windows partition so I have to edit the file manually.

Does someone know how to indicate grub to add this partition too?

    Thanks in advance.

Putting the relevant entry behind the line reading "end automagic list" should do the trick.

Sheez Thanks! That was annoying the heck out of me.

It says right there in menu.lst

        "### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST
        ## lines between the AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST markers will be modified
        ## by the debian update-grub script except for the default options below
        "

but I just never read it.

        Durrrr.
