    advice re choice next month

I have been using the LTS Dapper and have got used to getting lots and lots of updates sent to me.
Next month I have to choose between staying with an "LTS" Kubuntu with 3.5.9 KDE or going to a non LTS Kubuntu.
My problem is that i don't know what to expect from a non-LTS version.
Is there anywhere online where the difference is explained (in great detail and in words that a noobie can grasp)?
Any information or thoughts will be appreciated
    Thanks

Really the only difference is how long updates are supported. LTS is usually 3 years while a regular release is just 18 months.

      Thanks MoonRise for the link.
I am happy to know that I would get the same quality and quantity of updates with either version. At the end of 18 months I suppose that I would be able to do an "upgrade" to the next version.
      Thanks

as far as I know, Hardy is a LTS release for Ubuntu, and the only reason it isn't for Kubuntu is that KDE4 has not been deemed ready. Kubuntu Hardy apparently gives you the choice between KDE3 and 4, so I would assume most of the LTS updates would still apply if using KDE3, just not 'officially' for whatever reason..

someone clear this up / correct me?.
