Login problem

hi I have installed KUBUNTU it was working fine lasweek I cannot signing GUI but I can access the text mode plz guide me?? what could be the problem? I have tried renaming the .kde using mv cmd but without NE succes need urgent help. :-X

Something was obviously changed in the system, probably when it was "working fine". It is likely a video/graphics display problem. You'll need to post the errors that you see, or the specific sequence that you observe when booting your computer, to get to the text prompt. For example, if you can log in, type

startx

and then let us know what you see.
