As always with Kubuntu, after a fresh install, I have a perfectly working scanner as soon as I add xsane. But after a few weeks, al of a sudden my scanner is not there. Its detected perfectly, but both Xsane and Kooka report it as missing. This has been driving me crazy and I was never able to get it working again after it fails. I even scanned hassle-free to Gimp. If anyone know what to look for, please let me know. (The Sane website's checks works as they say, but still no scan.)
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
