    TI USB Modem problems

    Hello.

I have a Huawei CDMA modem that uses a TI USB connection cable. It works fine in Kubuntu 5.10 - all I have to do is put the hotplug script in /etc/hotplug/usb, and the kernel detects and installs it as soon as I plug it in.

But in 6.04, it doesn't work, even it I put the hotplug script in the same place. The kernel detects it, and correctly identifies the module to load (ti_usb_3410_5052), but then says there's an error and does not correctly create the device.

I've looked all over the net but can't find a solution - any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
