I've just downloaded the latest beta (intel32) cd and will begin using kubuntu. I am migrating from Libranet. I hope to meet other hams that are using ubuntu/kubuntu via this forum. Hope the journey is fun and worth my time. Hopefully the ham software will install without too many problems. .
So far, kanotix and kubuntu look like the nicest replacements to the powerful Libranet distro.
Looking forward to learning the in's and out's of kubuntu.
