    restricted drivers

    ok i know what the sollution is to the problem im expereincing i just cant recall how to access the restricted drivers by gui to solve it

    anyone know where this is - normaly ive seen it in system setings but it is not there atm

    If you're using "synaptic".....then I can't help you further..

    if you're using "Adept Manager".....then
    click the menu option "Adept" and select "Maintain Repositories" or "Manage Repositories" or something like that.
    (I'm using a Dutch version here....so maybe "Maintain" or "Manage" might be described as something else.

    If all this doesn't work....
    There might be a chance that you'll have to edit the file : "/etc/apt/sources.list" yourself.

    sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list
    and then remove each "#" before a line that starts out with "deb-"
