added RAM problem (solved)

I added more RAM to my puter and when kernel starts to load I get a kernel panic not syncing:attempted to kill idle task. Bios sees RAM OK. Any ideas?

Used memtest. mem stick was bad. Got new stick - works fine. Duh.

Was it a USB mem stick? I recently had similar issues and it turned out to be my USB hub had gone bad.
