NEED HELP TO CONFIGURE HUAWEI3G.Vodacom USB MODEM FOR INTERNET ACC.

Hi Lood here. new user of kubuntu,1 hour old. Need urgent help to get my HUAWEI3G.Vodacom usb modem to work in kubuntu.

I would like to move away from windows , but at this stage I still need it for my internet.

can any one help?

if you are still having problems there are some good posts on the Ubuntu forum on getting usb modems to work using wvdial (does not seem to work though with kppp).
can't remember the exact topics and it was about a different huawei modem but it may help

you are still having problems there are some good posts on the Ubuntu forum on getting usb modems to work using wvdial (does not seem to work though with kppp).
