How to install printers from kubuntu 6.06 livecd?

when kubuntu 6.06 desktopCD(livecd) is running,I can't install any printers by all ways I know?
Please help me?I'm a new guy,and forgive me for my poor English.

It would help folks if you said what printer you were using.

I installed my printers after my set up was complete. I don't know if you can use a printer while on the live cd, I looked around for a bit and didn't find anything on the subject.
