I'm running Kubuntu Dapper Drake and have a Soundblaster Audugy soundcard. Sometimes the device is correctly identified and works perfectly when booting and other times the system boots and tries to use my onboard soundcard (and therefore I get no sound) 
. I don't seem to be able to switch between the two soundcards when the system is up and running - I have to keep restarting and trusting to luck as to which one is selected. Is there any way of forcing Kubuntu to ALWAYS use the Soundblaster card?
