[Pre-Install] Cannot install current Kubuntu - Calamares segfault

Hi, I’m unable to install Kubuntu on a fairly standard ARM64 PC that was previously running Ubuntu. The problem occurred during installation, possibly during the configuration step. See the screenshots.

I'd have thought that a seg fault was hard to do, because calamares is written in Python. I suggest checking the .iso file's checksum.
