Error during install of 20.10 on Mac Mini 3.1

I get an error during the installation saying that installing grub failed - no additional info and the installation terminates. Upon rebooting after install, kubuntu comes up after a while (slow boot but I don't care about that).

So, am I missing anything or is all ok? Why the grub failure? So far, everything seems to be working.
