    Where is the setting for the green color seen in the image?

    Theme?

        Just the default Breeze/BreezeDark. I try not to change any defaults in Cosmic.

          Ah, BreezeDark is too depressive for me. I always switch to Breeze.

            That color is the same
            when Look&Feel is Breeze Dark and Desktop Theme is Breeze Dark
            and
            when Look&Feel is Kubuntu and Desktop Theme is Kubuntu

            I'll try with Breeze next time around.

              All those themes use the same default tasks.svgz to overlay the background.

                Code:
                $ locate tasks.svgz
                /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme/default/widgets/tasks.svgz
                /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme/oxygen/widgets/tasks.svgz
                /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/air/widgets/tasks.svgz
                /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/default/widgets/tasks.svgz
                /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/oxygen/widgets/tasks.svgz
                $
                I copied over /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/oxygen/widgets/tasks.svgz to my home folder, uncompressed it and could mess with the colors. But that's a pointless exercise because updates may generate new files. So green it is. (Plus I didn't figure out how to compress the folder back )

                  Breeze is too bright for me. I start with BreezeDark and lighten it a bit. Of course, I could go the other way and tone down Breeze. Choices, choices!
