All of a sudden when I click on the Home icon on the desktop, it opens an audio file.
Not sure why and not sure how to fix.
I'd be grateful for advice.

Folder View or Desktop View? If the latter, you dragged/dropped from the K Menu to the Desktop 'at some point'? IF yes, delete the Desktop Icon and recreate it.Windows no longer obstruct my view.

I recreated the Home desktop icon but got the same result.
In Folder view, under File Type Options, Home was set to open preferentially with VLC. I have no idea how this came about. Could it have been a key command I used without realising?
Now, it is set to open with Dolphin first, then Gwenview. Seems to be working ok for the moment at least.
