What is KTorrent and why is it now showing up on my desktop when I turn on my computer?

I've never been aware of it until appeared the other day on my desktop.
At least I was not aware of using it.
That's what I am always worried about, is that it was part of something that my computer used behind the scenes and I was not aware of it.
I guess I can always reinstall it.Greg

KTorrent is the KDE Bittorrent client. Not so important these days.What is KTorrent?
If you stumbled on a torrent seed file while browsing, ktorrent is the default file association.
My first thought is that Kubuntu is starting what it calls a "session" when you start your computer. Check system settings, Workspace/startup and shutdown, desktop session.Regards, John LittleComment
