New odd problem with Partition Manager - sudo not working?
Which is/was why I kept/used to keep a log of everything I changed with the system (date and what was done).
Yes, I try to do that. It's invaluable. But sometimes I fail. I like to keep lots of logs (including every shell command), I set up vim to copy a timestamped version on every save, and btrfs keeps lots of state I can easily checkout. It was a btrfs snapshot on a backup disc that came to the rescue in this instance.
Relying on memory is a receipt for disaster, IMO.
My much younger self would have quietly shook his head, but now I agree completely.
