Is Current Beta1 In A Feature Freeze?

    Hi,

Is current Beta1 in a feature freeze?
I mean that everything is done and we are only working on bugs?
Also, will there be a Release Candidate for Kubuntu like regular Ubuntu?

I tried once to install Beta1 but it did not go too well...
...might try again with the current daily ISO though.

    Let me know, thanks!

      Hi,

I already read through that before, but find it alittle confusing...
When will Kubuntu 18.04 64Bit LTS be in a "feature freeze"?
I've got a brand new WD 1TB HDD coming Monday to install,
just wondering if I should install Monday's daily ISO or wait longer?
      Thanks!

Which sections of the schedule are confusing?
At this date, about the only thing that could see big changes are the kernel, even that is unlikely to be problematic. I'd say go with the 18.04 daily, or even the last beta (probably a more stable installer, more formally tested by users). Only because either waiting impatiently for final, or doing a 17.10 to 18.04 upgrade is annoying

Hopefully 18.04 testers will chime in with actual hands-on information.

In terms of Kubuntu the only possible changes would be minor point releases of Frameworks and Applications. There isn't a point release for Plasma until June.
