[SOLVED] Log in screen in Arabic

It was end of November during a trip in Algeria that I reinstalled 18.04.
Although I've since set my locale to The Netherlands the login screen still shows the date and welcome in Arabic.

Where should I go to get this fixed?

Thanks, that /etc/defaults/locale file was indeed where it could be fixed, simply by leaving the first line with nl_NL and removing everything related to DZ.
