[SOLVED] Kubuntu not listed in Grub2 menu

I already run Kubuntu on one desktop in dual boot mode. No problems.

I installed Kubuntu on a second PC, this time in triple mode with Linux Mint (first), Windows 10 (second) and then Kubuntu.

The install was to a new 1TB disk drive and it seemed to install normally. Trouble is Kubuntu does not appear in the Grub menu so I have no way of running it. Mint and Windows are there and boot perfectly.

I'd be grateful for advice.

Have you tried boot-repair?

sudo update-grub fixed it. My bad. Should have known better.
