Yeah, but that's no fun! Oh, hindsight ... We all do this the way you've done it. And sometimes, speeding down a road actually works. Nothing wrong with experimenting and making mistakes. I can't remember the details, but not long ago, messing around experimenting, trying crazy stuff with booting, I somehow nuked my BIOS (UEFI) and had to totally re-flash it (using the BIOS file from the motherboard maker ASUS). Rock and Roll is here to stay. Glad you are making progress on all this.
