Help with microphone/guitar reccord

Hi,

I'm trying to use guitarix with my electric guitar but there is no sound. I changed a bunch of stuffs in the sound & audio configuration but for some reason is not working. The audio entrance/exit seems to work fine because I can use my headphones there.

What can I try?

Have you set up jack audio?? guitarix requires this sound system. You won't touch the normal audio stuff at all.

Hmmm I see... too much stuff for me, I'm afraid to **** up my system audio with these stuffs.
