Can't install Vercrypt

I downloaded the latest version of Veracrypt (1.21), extracted the script for th 64 bit GUI and ran it.

The terminal shows something that could be an error:

Verifying archive integrity... 100% All good.
Uncompressing VeraCrypt 1.21 Installer 100%
Unknown option 'caption'.
Press Return to close this window...

The result is no Veracrypt is installed.

I tried the same with version 1.16 that I run on 16.04 and get the same problem, no Veracrypt get's installed.

Before I report to the Veracrypt forum it would be good to see if others get the same problem on Kubuntu 17.10.

I have done a new clean installation and it too has the Veracrypt problem.
Next is the Veracrypt forum.

Another update, the same problem exists on neon.

Try run :

sudo apt install xterm

Then run the install of veracrypt again.

Thanks for the tip.

Until now I was running it from the cli but find this GUI much easier
