Okular crashed but unable to send a crash report

I had just printed a PDF in Okular an then removed it, I have numerous PDF's loaded and removed it by clicking on close tab. That's when Okular crashed.
When trying to send the crash report, it was unable to as there was no DBG file for Okular and none could be fund in the automatic search. So I decided to search for myself, using synaptic and I was unable to locate a DBG file too.

am i correct in thinking that there is none or am I searching for it using the wrong name (okular). If I am searching for it using the correct name and there is no such file, how do I report this error?

where do I go from here

You need to install okular-dbgsym if you want to enable reporting.

      (1) To enable dbgsym packages available for main archive packages.

      See: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Debug%20Symbol%20Packages

      (2) for a ppa, add the extra deb line with the 'main/debug' component.

e.g. for kubuntu backports ppa, you would need both the original deb line and the main/debug one, such as.

      deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu xenial main
      deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu xenial main/debug

Backports is the very first thing I do on fresh install.

That's what I was explaining un my post, there is no DBG for Okular, see screenshot, also 'DBG' files are usually just 'DBG' and not 'DBGSYM'

If you add the backports deb line I gave, and update your sources, there is.

              Code:
              ~ $ apt-cache policy okular-dbgsym
              okular-dbgsym:
              Installed: (none)
              Candidate: 4:16.04.3-0ubuntu1~ubuntu16.04~ppa62
              Version table:
                 4:16.04.3-0ubuntu1~ubuntu16.04~ppa62 500
                    500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu xenial/main/debug amd64 Packages

dbg packages are being replaced now with dbgsym

My bad, I miss-read, I've installed the PPA and found loads.
