Testing 16.04.4 ,64 bit, LTS on a LiveDVD

UPDATE.

I can't find the software repository, rather like in version 14). I don't think much of Discover. I note that k3b is the default burner in 16, I would like to see Brasero as well

Still getting flashing and odd geometric shapes. I can't see how to adjust the graphics in the LiveDVD

Can't find the Terminal.

I managed to burn the iso file using Brasero

I notice on the splash screen a background of black dots (symmetrical squares). Should they be there?

I am having some graphics anomalies. Some long flashes on the screen; and odd juddering when I turn the mouse wheel.

I believe that I will need to make some software adjustments via kubuntu to complement my graphics card. Advice needed here.

I will need to get these points addressed in the LIveDVD before I consider an installation.

I will repost if I see other anomalies as I test the software.
