    Undo HWE

    I'm using KDE neon, but the question i essentially a 16.04.3 question.

    Is their anyway to revert the HWE enablement stack back to the 16.04.1 version. I know how to downgrade the kernel back to 4.4 but how do I revert the x server without destroying everything?

      But be careful, as you likely do not want to follow the instructions exactly, as installing ubuntu-desktop would cause the install of the Unity desktop, so you might need to double check what was been removed. It might include kubuntu-desktop, which can of course be reinstalled, but its removal does not remove any actual files or packages - it is just a list of dependencies
