    Trying to install cpp-ethereum

I'm following the instructions on the ethereum.org website and I just keep hitting a brick wall...

    I got GETH installed...

I cannot install cpp-ethereum... I have tried various methods as per instructions on the ethereum.org website.
I have even tried building it from source which requires the install of cmake which I think I have done succesfully.. with apt-get

I have also downloaded two scrpits:

    install_cmake.sh
    install_deps.sh

I have successfully made these executable an moved them to /usr/local/bin but I still cannot run either of them...

Also when I try to install cpp-ethereum using apt-get I am getting this:

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cpp-ethereum : Depends: alethzero but it is not going to be installed
Depends: mix-ide but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    All help is greatly appreciated...
