How to start network configuration applet from command line in 16.04?

First, a little background. I'm having some multiple monitor woes where my taskbar doesn't show up on the correct monitor (when connected to an external monitor) or at all (when I take my laptop into a meeting). I still have the plasma desktop running and I can hit ALT-F2 to bring a up the "run this command" feature I just have no taskbar.

While at the meeting I figure I'll fire up Chrome via Alt-F2 and do a web search for how to fix the taskbar issue. That's when I discover I haven't started my wifi service. Without the taskbar, it's not immediately obvious what I need to run to get my network preferences to start. The ALT-F2 search does find some interesting networking related choices but none of them are the network applet.

What could I run from a konsole shell or from the ALT-F2 command window to cause the network configuration applet to start (which would allow me to start my wifi connection)?

    Plasma widgets

You could add widgets to the plasma panel and to the plasma desktop. There is also an option to run a plasmoids in a window:

    Plasma5/QML2/GettingStarted: https://techbase.kde.org/Development...GettingStarted
--> Find and try out existing Plasmoids: https://techbase.kde.org/Development...ting_Plasmoids

To get a list of installed Plasma packages call

    plasmapkg2 --list

    plasmawindowed

Pick one of those lines of your choice and run for example

    plasmawindowed <plasmoid>
    ...
