System settings are missing after update

Hi, I've updated to 16.04 from 15.10, when reboot the system update claims some language pack is missing but failed to download it. I looked in system settings but the Install language is missing also the Don't ask password for login in the Startup and Shutdown section. I use spanish language.
    Any help?
    Thanks!

You could try to install the program kubuntu-desktop in your working system - using the terminal (sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop) or muon. Kubuntu-desktop is a meta-package. All that is needed is in the meta-package, so hopefully when you try to install kubuntu-desktop the system will see what is missing on your computer.

But is the resulting install running Spanish or American English?

There is a somewhat similar problem for those that want a Dutch system, only the Mozilla language pack is impossible to install, the rest does work.
