Can't display video thumbnails in Dolphin

Did a clean install of Xenial from today's daily build (Mar 21).

I installed ffmpegthumbs (4:15.12.1-0ubuntu1) and have enabled it in Dolphin Settings - General > Previews.
I also have the restricted extras & addons installed for codecs.

Video thumbs just refuse to display. I did a search and I found some old threads with workarounds like compiling ffmpegthumbs from git or using the Dolphin4 version but I was under the impression it should be fixed and working by now but it doesn't seem to be.

Is there anything I can do to get this working?

Pretty amazed with myself but I've managed to fix it

    Code:
    sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/ffmpegthumbs.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/
