    Why does my clock speak German?

    Hi everybody! I have just upgraded my pc from 14.04 to 15.10, waiting for the next LTS in 16.04, and I'm trying to set up everything.
    I've set the clock in order to show also the date and the day of the week. I set my locale to "it", although I currently live in Germany. The (small) problem is that the clock and the calendar are in German!
    I also would like to know how to see Italian bank holidys on the calendar, as it was in 14.04 (now the calendar doesn't show such information at all).
    Thanks!

    Missing features

    Plasma/5.5 Errata

    Missing features
    No holidays or calendar events displayed in the Plasma calendar until KDE Frameworks 5.17, due for release shortly after Plasma 5.5.0

    I've just upgraded to frameworks 5.17, plasma 5.5.1, and applications 15.12 on Antergos (basically Arch). I thought I would now have holidays in the calendar. Am I missing a settting or a package needed?

    No, this has been postponed to 5.6 because some parts (in frameworks) of the events system were not released before 5.5 was released.

      Thank you very much!
      OK, I can live without the holidays in the calendar, by now
      The "language thing" is a minor issue, too, but it's kinda weird...

      btw my locale setting in plasma-locale-settings.sh seems correct:
      # Generated script, do not edit
      # Exports language-format specific env vars from startkde.
      # This script has been generated from kcmshell5 formats.
      # It will automatically be overwritten from there.
      export LANG=it_IT.UTF-8
      but, indeed, I can see the problem with locale command!
      LANG=it_IT.UTF-8
      LANGUAGE=
      LC_CTYPE="it_IT.UTF-8"
      LC_NUMERIC=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_TIME=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_COLLATE="it_IT.UTF-8"
      LC_MONETARY=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_MESSAGES="it_IT.UTF-8"
      LC_PAPER=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_NAME=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_ADDRESS=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_TELEPHONE=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_MEASUREMENT=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_IDENTIFICATION=de_DE.UTF-8
      LC_ALL=
      Bingo!
