    Cannot use single-click in Dolphin

    Hi all

    after upgrading from Kubuntu 15.04 to 15.10
    I cannot use "single-click" anymore to open files and folders in Dolphin.
    (even though the option is selected in systems settings ->input devices -> mouse)
    (sorry if this is not the exact english translation)

    Any idea to solve this ?

    I have tried to create a new user with a fresh config, same problem.

    Note: In the Kubuntu 15.10 live USB, it works as expected

    You're not clicking on the add icon are you? They are very difficult to see at the top left.

      I know this can be confusing. But, no, I'm not clicking there. Any place on the icon, or the filename, has the same effect now: first click select, second click opens.

      In the kde forum they pointed me to this
      https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343418

      somehow it's not fixed in Kubuntu 15.10, at least for me

        I have been unable to replicate this at home (15.10 upgraded from 15.04 back ports) so I can only make the usual suggestions which I am almost certain you have already done; make sure you have applied all updates and if necessary rebooted after them.

        Sorry I can't be more help.

          yes, I have done this; thanks anyway.

          I found the workaround to use dolphin4 instead of dolphin; then single-click works.

          But single-click still doesn't work with the systemsettings;

          this is a very strange bug, probably related to the migration kde4 --> kde5
