    Transitioning from 15.04 to 15.10

    Hello!

I'm rather new to Kubuntu, and had been using 15.04 with my laptop and a second monitor for about two months or so.
15.04 immediately detected the other monitor, and began to use it.

When I upgraded to 15.10 and plugged in the VGA cable for my monitor, the laptop screen went black and it began using the monitor as the primary display (the task-bar shifted over and everything too).

In the Display Configuration window I could see the Monitor (it was in the center) as well as the Laptop screen, but it was greyed out, and I couldn't figure out a way to communicate to the system that I wanted it to display on both monitors.

I would be grateful for any advice!

    Thank you very much!

wile in the "Display Configuration window" if you click the "greyed out" laptop screen dose the display info below change to the laptop screen ,,,,,if so click the "enabled" check box and then click apply.
