    AMD APU Richland Catalyst issues

Testing out 15.10 now and so far so good with the exception I cannot get my proprietary driver functioning. I tried the fglrx, fglrx-updates, and even tried the latest .deb straight from AMD's website with no success. The install completes however upon reboot I get stuck on the Kubuntu boot screen infinitely. Is there anyone else having AMD Catalyst driver issues? If so any workarounds? The default vesa driver runs decently but I would definitely like to have the proprietary driver working again. Thanks in advance.

    My system specs are:

3.50GHz AMD A8-6500 Richland APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics

    MSI FM2-A75MA-35 Motherboard

    16GB of AMD Radeon Memory

    Mushkin 240GB SSD (Kubuntu)

Silicon Power 240GB SSD (Windows 7)

    Antec Earthwatts Green 380W PSU

Looks like they are working on a patch until AMD reworks the driver. http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...atch-linux-4.2 Looks like the OSS driver is working good for now so no issues waiting. AMD looks like they are going for better integration with Linux. Just an update.

If you don't play steam games than opensource driver is better choice imo.
