PCI Edimax Wlan disconnects after a short while

    Hello,

I upgraded my pc from Kubuntu 14.10 to 15.04
My PCI wlan edimax card disconnects from wireless modem in 5-10 min after I turn on pc.
I try to reconnect but connects and disconnects from modem.
I then connect a wireless usb adapter it connects to modem without any problem.

    What to you suggest,??

    Thanks for any help

    sudo -i
    echo "options rtl8192ce swenc=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8192ce.conf
    exit

    Reboot

Not sure if it will help, but I had the same symptom from my atheros, and editing /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and changing the line managed= from false to true seems to have fixed it for me.
