    My Desktop

My shiny new desktop with Kubuntu 15.04.
A mixture of Breeze and Evolver icons and the Cairo dock.

    Absolutely love it !

It's nice to see how many different personas a Desktop can take!

      Hiya,

I was trying the Cairo dock in Linux Mint KDE. No matter what I did the Cairo started creating duplicate docks underneath itself. Very annoying. Has that been fixed?

        GerardV........

        well.........that is rather........spectacular....

I KNOW that "bar" on the lower panel..............she and I had very intimate converstions on a previous distro..........she was rather......"cranky" back........8 years ago......

But........it seems that you and she have reached a rather........amicable......relationship....

She has mellowed a bit over the years and is quite pleasant now.
But as KDEaster mentioned "Cairo started creating duplicate docks underneath itself", every now and then, she can play up a bit.
It only seems to happen after the initial install and/or if you add it to the autostart in " System Settings".

            hmmmm

"initial install" and "adding it later" or "as an upstart"...these are kind of........... are "all new" to the system...........

I wonder "which" causes "less or more" "problems"........

is it an "update thing" to where the dock does not interact well with "something" that was "not there" or "is new there"....

This might be something to report to the people devleoping the dock and is it particular to any "release"...... upstream, downstream...

            You raise some interesting questions.........

I was just thinking to myself today, sitting on the throne......

WHY is it.......that people with seemingly "the same" systems.........appear at the forum with........"different problems"........

OMG my head is spinning.......waaay above MY pay grade!

But you really do seem to pose interesting questions.........keep it up!
