Places in KDE startmenu gone.

Hi,

the "places" section in my kickoff menu is empty. The places are showing up in dolphin. If i create a new user everything is working as expected.
I'm actually using Plasma 5.3 on Kubuntu 15.04.

Any ideas how to fix that ?

Hi,

You can try restoring it to default. Right click on the application launcher and go to edit applications, and from there go to Edit > Restore to System menu.

This is what is written in the handbook about this action.

Edit > Restore to System Menu

This will restore the application launcher as it was as default and remove all your custom

settings. A message box will ask you if you really want to do that.

Ok i did that. But it had no effect to the places section.
