KMail - Import mails from former hard disc

Hi all,

after an error that made my system (14.10) unavailable, I installed now 15.04; fortunately I could safe my home directory. Is there now a way to migrate mails (and maybe other kontact data) directly from a home directory without setting up a 14.10 and exporting from there? Either I do not know if installing a 14.10 and copy my home dir to that installation whould give me a working kontact?

I've never been happy with Kmail so I am no expert.

But I am fairly sure you can do the same I did with Thunderbird, just copy the relevant directory tree from the old disk to the new one and let it replace the fresh directory set up during installation.
