    Can't run 15.04 in VBox

Has anyone gotten 15.04 to run in virtualbox? No matter what display settings I use it always craps out right after plymouth. The splash screen and desktop aren't displayed, only garbled colors.

Well, just accidentally stumbled across the fix. Turning off nested paging lets Kubuntu 15.04 boot fine. With it enabled plasma 5 won't render correctly. Maybe just my Intel GPU?

I run it in virtualbox. Are you running one of the daily builds? I installed the one from 2/26/15. worked fine. May try the newest in a few days. Usually wipe and install newest build about once a week.

The last image I tried was from the 26th. The only troublesome DE is plasma 5. All other DE's load fine. For some reason nested paging and plasma 5 don't play well on this machine. Oh well, at least I got it going.

Yes. Running fine. The irony is I had your problem with Kubuntu 14.

I will look at the nested paging option on mine, I am installing one now and doing the Right-Crtl-F1 and then Right-Crtl-F7 cleared the garbage screen to allow the normal screen and now my install is going. I have the nested pages options checked and the install came up ok without the screwed up screen I got on the livecd. It works for me and thankfully using on the terminal switch options fixed what was giving me fits and preventing my installs.
