    Veromix Plasma Plasmoid crashes

    I installed the Veromix package including the applet and every reboot it crashes with a nice but not very helpful notification.

    Running it from the Konsole delivers:
    teunis@W520:~$ plasmoidviewer veromix-plasmoid
    Bus:pen: Can not get ibus-daemon's address.
    IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon
    plasmoidviewer(10744)/libplasma Plasma::PackagePrivate::isValid: Could not find required file mainscript

    Error connecting to veromix-service:
    org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ExecFailed: Failed to execute program org.veromix.pulseaudio.qt: Success
    I did some searching but can only find one error reprot and I don't recognise it:

    I'm using Veromix here, and it's working fine. However, I've purged all IBus stuff as I have no need for it -- perhaps that explains why I'm not having your problem. Alas, Veromix hasn't seen any maintenance for over two years now, which is unfortunate. KMix in KDE 4 simply doesn't have all the functionality necessary to control PulseAudio.

      I am also experincing issues with Veromix on my 14.04 32-bits desktop. Here is the error message i get running in Konole:

      marco@Lenovo:~$ veromix
      Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 2135, in _find_spec
      AttributeError: 'DynamicImporter' object has no attribute 'find_spec'

      During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

      Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "/usr/bin/veromix", line 22, in <module>
      from gi.repository import Gtk, Gdk
      File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/importer.py", line 53, in find_module
      'introspection typelib not found' % namespace)
      ImportError: cannot import name Gtk, introspection typelib not found
      marco@Lenovo:~$

      However, 14.04 64-bits on my laptop seem to function well.

        Good point Marco, I've also seen this Gtk message on my 64bit system.
        It happens during log in.
